‘Tis the season… for con news! While we’ve had our sights set on San Diego Comic-Con (whose second and final badge event ended last month), there’s also Comic-Con International’s smaller sister show: WonderCon Anaheim, set for March 27-29, 2026. While it’s not the Hollywood-metropolis of San Diego Comic-Con, it’s a very solid convention with an amazing Artist Alley and a thriving cosplay community. If you enjoy fun conventions without the stress, WonderCon may just be for you.
Badges for WonderCon have been on sale for months (more information here), but hotels are also now available. There are four hotels to choose from (down from five options last year), with rates starting at $169 at Hotel Lulu.
Inventory is available in real time — and the first night deposit is required. Deposits are refundable through Wednesday, March 18, 2026. That’s a very generous policy, especially given the changes to hotels for San Diego Comic-Con this year.
